Experimenting with black and white photography has been a blast! I tend towards big bright and colorful artwork. So B&W at first sent shivers down my spine. I was afraid to attempt making something beautiful with only a handful of tools. Yet, I always believed in the beauty and power of this genre. In a B&W photo, all of the emotion must strike from the contrast of shadow and light. In many ways, I think we as people are defined similarly. We are the unique contrast of all aspects of light and dark that exist within us.
